Marvin Cabrera announced the roster for Azerbaijan on Oct. 15.

Among the players coming from the United States is Zamir Loyo. He joined Sporting Kansas City's academy in 2023 and in 2026 played 15 matches for Sporting KC II in MLS NEXT Pro, the professional league where the club's reserve side competes.

Jayden González, meanwhile, spent time at América before joining the Seattle Sounders academy. His development includes stints at clubs in both Mexico and the United States.

With these players, the Mexican side wrapped up the first phase of the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival with five wins in five matches.

American academies supply five players, but most of this U-15 squad is still based at Mexican clubs: nine of the 14 called up.
