Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Rams

The Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) host the Los Angeles Rams (2-4) in Week 7 of the NFL on Sunday, October 25, at 1:25pm PT at Allegiant Stadium.

Las Vegas sits third in the AFC West and has lost three straight. Los Angeles is fourth in the NFC West and has yet to win a divisional game.

Match preview

The Raiders arrive at 3-3, third in the AFC West and on a three-game losing streak. They have scored 162 points and allowed 162, an average of 27.0 per game on both sides.

Two of those three losses came by three points, 33-30 to the Bills and 30-27 to the Chiefs. In between was a 45-17 defeat at New England. Before that, Las Vegas beat the Chargers 26-14 and won 35-27 at the Saints.

The Raiders are 1-2 at home and 2-1 on the road. Quarterback Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,582 yards and a league-leading 14 touchdowns, with five interceptions.

The defense is the concern. It allows 7.9 yards per pass attempt, 28th in the NFL, and has given up multiple touchdown passes in four straight games.

The Rams are 2-4, last in the NFC West and 0-2 in the division. They come in off losses of 18-16 to Arizona and 37-34 to Buffalo, after a 24-20 win over the Eagles. They are 1-1 away from home.

Los Angeles scores 22.5 points per game and allows 23.0. Even so, the offense ranks third in the league at 401.3 yards per game, and the defense is also third, allowing 294.0.

Matthew Stafford leads the NFL with 1,794 passing yards, with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Puka Nacua has 37 catches for 417 yards, and running back Kyren Williams has 393 rushing yards.

The Rams defense is second best against the pass, allowing 167 yards per game.

In the recent regular-season history, Los Angeles won 20-15 in 2024 and 17-16 in 2022. This is an interconference game, but both teams want to stop the slide and stay in the playoff race.

Injury report

The Rams carry the heavier injury list. Wide receiver Puka Nacua (calf) is questionable after leaving Thursday's practice early. Sean McVay called the issue minor. Cornerback Trent McDuffie (groin) is also questionable and did not practice all week.

Inside linebacker Nate Landman (concussion), the team's leading tackler, has been ruled out. Eric Kendricks will be elevated from the practice squad. Davante Adams (hamstring), Kobie Turner (groin) and Poona Ford (triceps) are on injured reserve.

For Las Vegas, tight end Carter Runyon (foot) and wide receiver Dont'e Thornton (hamstring) are out. Rookie running back Mike Washington Jr. (foot/back) is questionable. Brock Bowers, tackle Kolton Miller, linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway, back from the concussion protocol, all practiced fully on Friday.

Our prediction
Raiders24 - 27Rams

We think the Rams edge it 27-24. Stafford faces a defense that gives up yards through the air, and the visitors, second best against the pass, should hold Cousins in check just enough. Los Angeles' losses at receiver and linebacker keep this close in Las Vegas.
