Sixth-placed Sevilla host 11th-placed Osasuna at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan on Monday 26 October in LaLiga Matchweek 10, with kick-off at 2pm Mexico City time.
The hosts have 14 points from nine games. The visitors have 11, three behind.
Match preview
Sevilla arrive without a league win in three matches. They lost 4-1 at Real Madrid on 18 October, drew 3-3 at Levante and lost 3-1 at home to Barcelona on 19 September. At Levante, they led 2-0 and again at 3-2 before being pegged back late on.
Their last victory came on 16 September, 1-0 at Deportivo La Coruna. They also lost 3-1 to Aston Villa in a friendly on 2 October.
At the Sanchez-Pizjuan, Sevilla have won two and lost two of their four games, scoring five and conceding seven. Away from home they have fared better, with two wins, two draws and one defeat, plus nine goals scored.
Luis Garcia Plaza's side have conceded 16 goals in nine games and carry a goal difference of -2, yet they remain sixth. Fofana, now playing in a more advanced role, is their man in form.
Osasuna sit 11th on 11 points with a goal difference of -8. They beat Racing Santander 2-0 in the first game of Jagoba Arrasate's second spell in charge.
Before that, they lost 5-2 at Real Betis and drew 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano. In September they were beaten 4-0 at Atletico Madrid and 2-0 at home by Espanyol.
Life on the road is the weak point. Osasuna have won one and lost three of four away games, scoring six and conceding 15, which is almost four per match. At home they have won two, drawn two and lost one. Budimir has seven goals and remains the main attacking threat.
Recent history favours Osasuna. Of the last five league meetings, they won two (2-1 in April 2026 and 1-0 in April 2025), Sevilla won one (1-0 in November 2025) and two ended 1-1.
Arrasate has warned his players they must withstand Sevilla's spells of pressure and expects a physically demanding game. A win would bring Osasuna level on points with their hosts.

Team news
Sevilla remain without Marcao, who has a muscle injury, and Miguel Sierra, who has a shoulder problem. Both are long-term absentees. Jon Guridi is also a confirmed absentee. Isaac Romero returns after serving a suspension.
Kochorashvili is expected back from injury and could go straight into the XI, although his condition is being monitored until the last minute. Lucas Stassin is a doubt after a disrupted week of training and could miss out on the XI or even the bench.
Osasuna have four players sidelined: Jorge Herrando and Rafa del Castillo (muscle injuries), Aimar Oroz (hamstring) and Asier Bonel (groin). Projected XIs differ on the goalkeeper, with Sergio Herrera and Aitor Fernandez both listed. Moncayola and Moi Gomez are part of the usual midfield, with Budimir leading the line.
We think Sevilla will edge a 2-1 win. They have scored in each of their last four league games, and Osasuna are conceding almost four goals per away match. Budimir and the Arrasate bounce keep the visitors dangerous, but a physical Sevilla midfield led by Kochorashvili and Fofana should tell in Nervion.
