Cristiano Ronaldo's club will donate a full match's ticket revenue to Jesús de Miguel's family
UD Almería announced it will hand over every euro from ticket sales for its game against Tenerife to support the family of the late footballer.

The tragic death of Jesús de Miguel continues to prompt gestures of solidarity across Spanish football. This time it was UD Almería, a club in which Cristiano Ronaldo is a shareholder, that announced a special gesture to support the family of the Tenerife striker.
The Andalusian club confirmed it will give all ticket revenue from its home game against CD Tenerife, on Matchday 34 of LaLiga Hypermotion, to the player's family.
The initiative was driven by club president Mohammed Al Khereiji to provide financial support to the relatives of the 30-year-old, who died on November 3 after a heavy collision with the Andorra goalkeeper during a second-division match.
Cristiano Ronaldo's club joins the tribute
Cristiano Ronaldo bought a 25% stake in UD Almería in February 2026, becoming a co-owner of the club as part of his investments off the pitch. Although the decision was not announced by the Portuguese star himself, the club he is part of wanted to join the many shows of support that followed the tragedy.
In addition to the donation, Almería invited Jesús de Miguel's family to attend the match, if their circumstances allow.
In its statement, the club acknowledged that nothing can make up for the loss of a loved one, but stressed that compassion and mutual support in difficult times are among the values that unite the football family.
A match will thus become more than a sporting event: a tribute and a show of solidarity for a family facing an irreparable loss.
