The Green Bay Packers host the Carolina Panthers in Week 8 of the NFL season on Thursday Night Football. Kickoff at Lambeau Field is at 8:15pm ET on October 29.

Green Bay arrive at 4-3 and sit fourth in the NFC North. Carolina are 3-3 and lead the NFC South.

The Packers are 4-3, 1-2 in the division and last in the NFC North. They come off a 20-17 loss in Detroit, their first defeat after three straight wins.

Before that, they beat the Cowboys 23-13 and the Bears 31-7 at home, and won 17-14 in Tampa Bay. They are 2-1 at Lambeau, with the lone loss a 35-14 defeat to Atlanta.

The offense averages 20.6 points per game and the defense allows 20.7 (144 scored, 145 conceded). <cite index="24-8">Jordan Love is fourth in the league at 279.7 passing yards per game</cite>, and <cite index="22-7">has 13 touchdowns against five interceptions.</cite>

The trouble is on the ground. <cite index="24-9,24-11">Green Bay still ranks last in the league in rushing, at 59.9 yards per game.</cite> <cite index="24-10">Josh Jacobs managed 36 yards on 11 carries against the Lions.</cite>

Carolina are 3-3 and top the NFC South. They are coming off a 43-13 home loss to Tampa Bay, after beating the Eagles 25-14 in Philadelphia and the Lions 32-26.

The Panthers are 2-1 on the road, with wins of 34-3 at Atlanta and 25-14 at Philadelphia. The offense averages 26.5 points per game and the defense gives up 27.7 (159 scored, 166 conceded).

Green Bay have seven players listed as questionable on the official report: center Sean Rhyan (ankle), defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle), linemen Travis Glover (knee) and Aaron Banks (knee), linebacker Zaire Franklin (shin), Anthony Campbell (ankle) and wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder).

For Carolina, <cite index="8-11">tackle Taylor Moton is out for the year and rookie Monroe Freeling steps in at right tackle.</cite> Cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson remain on injured reserve.
