Injury report
Dallas ruled out edge rusher Malachi Lawrence (ankle) and wide receiver KaVontae Turpin (ribs). Wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring), cornerback Joey Porter Jr. (ankle), linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring/back) and tight ends Jake Ferguson (ankle) and Luke Schoonmaker (groin) are questionable. The first four were limited on Friday.
There is good news, as defensive back Caleb Downs and safety P.J. Locke cleared the concussion protocol and carry no designation.
Indianapolis ruled out linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither (knee) and cornerback Justin Walley (knee). Safety A.J. Haulcy (ankle) and offensive tackle Jalen Travis (thumb) are questionable.
With Davis-Gaither out, Jaylon Carlies or Bryce Boettcher would fill the weakside spot. CJ Allen is set to play in the middle, and Kapena Gushiken will make his second start at nickel.
We expect Dallas to edge this one 27-23. The Cowboys score more per game and carry the better points differential, while Indianapolis has lost four straight and concedes nearly 28 points per outing. Questions in the visiting defense and home field for the Colts could keep the scoreboard tight.
