The Seattle Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9 on Sunday, November 8, at 1:25pm PT (3:25pm in Mexico City) at Lumen Field.

Match preview
The Seahawks arrive off a 34-17 home loss to the Bears in Week 8. That left them 4-4 with a one-game losing streak.
Over their last five games they are 2-3. They beat the Chiefs 20-3 and the Chargers 30-23, but lost 32-29 to the 49ers and 17-14 in Denver. The defense was the story against Kansas City, holding it to three points.
The offense averages 23.1 points per game and the defense allows 19.9. With 185 points scored and 159 allowed, the point differential is positive despite the even record.
Seattle is 3-2 at home. Raising Zona calls Lumen Field one of the toughest road environments in the league. Drew Lock will start at quarterback in place of Sam Darnold.
Arizona is 3-5 and comes off a 33-30 overtime win over the Cowboys, a surprising rally in Week 8.
The Cardinals are 2-3 in their last five. They beat the Rams 18-16 but lost 30-16 to Denver, 45-21 to Detroit and 36-24 to the Giants. Those last two defeats came with the defense giving up 45 and 36 points.
The offense scores 21.9 points per game and the defense allows 29.8, with 175 points scored and 238 allowed. Arizona is 3-2 on the road. At home it is still winless at 0-3.
Gardner Minshew is the new starting quarterback for the Cardinals. Wideout Michael Wilson had eight catches, 111 yards and a touchdown in Dallas while playing with two broken ribs. Tight end Trey McBride is a natural target for Minshew.
Seattle has won the last five meetings, the latest a 31-7 result in Glendale in Week 2. The Seahawks have won 10 straight in the series.
This is an NFC West divisional game. Seattle has lost three of its last four and wants to regain its footing. Arizona is trying to climb out of the bottom of the division.

Injury report
Seattle will be without Sam Darnold because of a quad injury. Lock, dealing with a right elbow issue, will start. Also ruled out are tackle Charles Cross (ankle), guard Quenton Nelson (knee), linebacker Uchenna Nwosu (ankle), defensive tackle Brandon Pili (back), receiver Rashid Shaheed (knee) and defensive end Leonard Williams. Linebacker Connor O'Toole (foot) is questionable.
With Nelson out, the offensive line likely reverts to Grey Zabel at left guard and Anthony Bradford at right guard.
Arizona will be without running back Bam Knight (concussion) and offensive linemen Jon Gaines II (ankle) and Jayden Williams (knee). Guard Isaiah Adams (ankle), cornerback Max Melton (knee) and defensive lineman Walter Nolen III (ankle) are questionable. Michael Wilson was a limited participant in practice.
We think Seattle will grind out a close one, 24-17. Even with Drew Lock and a thinned offensive line, the home defense allows nearly 10 fewer points per game than Arizona's, which also struggled with big plays against the Seahawks in Week 2.
